Visual Storytelling in the World of Algorithmic Narratives
Our lives and the stories we tell and share are increasingly mediated via technology.
Algorithms determine what is popular and as designers we chase the thrill of one more click from our users to hit that metric and target while as consumers ourselves, we scroll endlessly though visual cliches as the world increasingly looks the same. Like for like we are same same but different. Visual Storytelling in the World of Algorithmic Narratives is a part improv, part storytelling, fully immersive session between photographic worlds real and imagined, and the technologies that mediate our minds.
